Hello, I am running my Bot User:SpaceBirdyBot as interwikibot on is.wikt (and de,es,pt,ga,af,fo,nah,scn,nl,sv,ro) lately because not all links are catched by the current active bots there. If You are interested I can set my bot to run here also.

I am using SVN pywikipedia (latest) and run it using

interwiki.py -wiktionary -autonomous -force -noauto -nobacklink -noshownew -neverlink:fur,ilo,nov,sco

Global bots

Hello. The standard bot policy was updated to allow global bots, which are now technically possible. These are trusted bots that will be given bot access on every wiki that allows global bots (the local policy or request page must explicitly allow them, or they won't get access on this wiki). The current requirements for global bots are:

• a global bot must only maintain interlanguage links or fix double-redirects;
• a global bot must have already been active on several wikis, with long-term contributions demonstrating its trustworthiness.

Does anyone object to allowing global bots on this wiki? I'll update the local policy in a week if there are no objections. Thanks. —Pathoschild 17:00:45, 28 júl 2008 (UTC)

2. Za Myslel som že boli vykonané všetky potrebné kroky na zavadenie global bot policy, vzhľadom na to, že flag boti potom dostali. Inak jedine súhlas, keďže nemáme byrokrata. —Kandy Talbot 19:26, 30. júl 2008 (UTC)

@Danny B., @Zdenekk2: Panové, chcete mať tohto bota v súčastnosti? Pokiaľ nebude výslovne áno, tak v nedeľu žiadosť uzavriem/zruším. Dušan Kreheľ (diskusia) 17:43, 13. apríl 2024 (UTC)

Obecně jsem rád, když se najde někdo, kdo s robotem vypomůže, protože se tím dá ušetřit dost práce, ale zároveň se jí tím dá i dost přidělat. A protože dosavadní editace bylo třeba z velké části opravovat (ať již autorem po sobě nebo jiným uživatelem) a některé navíc nebyly předem prodiskutovány, nehledě na to, že robot byl, poklud jsem správně zaregistroval, někde i blokován, jsem v tomto případě prozatím spíše proti. Až se vychytají chyby, rád příznak podpořím.
